Sandhammaren - after the storm

This is when December approaches, I thought it was time to take a trip to the sea. After yesterday's storm (Berit), it was also a little more enticing. Just to go to sea for a real autumn storm, I think gives a special feeling. It may be because this is where the contrast is greatest. Here, storms raging at full strength rampant in both trees and buildings.

Sandhammaren became the named Sweden's best beach 2010th What makes that I like to come here is particularly light. But from where you can stroll along the beach with no restrictions does not make it worse. A few miles north, we Mälarhusen and a few kilometers south Hagestad nature reserve. Coming here outside the bathing season also gives the feeling of solitude - Billboard with old pieces, the igenbommade kiosk, portable toilets as no queuing and parking areas that are only a few crowded on.

Today was quite a bit gone but a lot of coffee.

Note blue on a gray day

Even a seemingly cloudy day can be well worth a trip out in nature. Above all, the sea does not require very much sun for it to be a nice experience. Today, watching the sun comes out a bit. The tones are blue and gray, but amazing.

Forest house Enefälad

Previous posts covered only the old machines that lay along the way. Here are some of the walk. Since it was pretty wet in the land so it was pretty muddy in several places. Sturdy shoes that can withstand that shit down is recommended.

When I parked in the space provided, we followed the road past the farm which is located on the right. The farm was a very well-built dog, barking at us. But that did not deter us.

The first five hundred meters, we followed a dirt road that ends where the nature reserve begins. The first thing we see when we approach a beautiful grove, and a flock of animals. Later, we see two other animals and it's actually rare that I've been through an area where there were so many deer.

We climb over a fence and roam on. Pretty soon we climb over another and are at a nice little wetland. You get hungry, and we turn back. But we can not back the same way but continues in a circle. We passed through a small grove that turns into a birch forest upplandad with junipers. It is a hilly, and nicely wooded area and we manage to bring us full circle and come up on the road quite close to the parking lot.

The area is quite small and getting lost requires almost a conscious attempt. However, it may be that you must follow one of the many fences longer than you thought to find a way to get over.

read more about the nature reserve here .
